Freqently Asked Questions

How much does a new roof cost?
It depends entirely on your roof’s size, pitch, material choice, and whether a full tear-off is needed. However, we know you want to know what to expect. If you give us a call with some basic details about your home, we are happy to give you a realistic ballpark estimate right over the phone so you aren't left guessing.

To lock in an exact price, our team will come out, take precise measurements, and give you a real, itemized number you can count on. There is absolutely no charge for the on-site estimate, and zero pressure to commit.

What does the estimate process look like?
Share Your Info: You give us a call or fill out our online form with your basic property details.

Satellite Roof Report: Next, we pull an advanced satellite aerial report of your property. This allows us to get high-accuracy initial measurements of your roof's square footage, ridges, valleys, and pitch before we even step foot on your lawn.

On-Site Detail Confirmation: Our team comes out to your property to confirm the digital data. We look closely for things the satellite images can't see—like the condition of your flashings, chimney areas, ventilation, and how many layers of old shingles need to be torn off.

Finalized Quote: We sit down with you to finalize your quote based on your material choice. You get a real, itemized number with no hidden fees, no charge for the visit, and zero pressure to commit.

Seamless Installation & Clean Inspection: Once you approve, we coordinate the timeline around your schedule. Our team handles the entire install, runs high-powered magnets to catch every single nail in the yard, and conducts a final quality walkthrough with you to ensure you are 100% satisfied.

How far in advance do I need to book?
Our lead times fluctuate depending on the season and the weather, but we typically recommend booking your project 2 to 4 weeks in advance. Spring and fall fill up the fastest, while summer schedules can shift based on local storm activity.

However, we don't believe in making your schedule conform to ours. The best way to lock in a timeline that works for you is to get your free on-site estimate started and we can look at our current production calendar together!

What areas do you serve?
We are proudly based right here in Kearney, Nebraska, but our crew regularly travels to handle residential and commercial projects all across central and eastern Nebraska. Simply put: we aren't afraid to travel inside our state!
How long does a roof replacement take?
For most standard-sized homes, a traditional asphalt roof replacement takes just 1 to 2 days from start to finish. However, if you choose premium metal roofing or steel shingles, the timeline generally doubles to triples in time due to the complex, highly specialized installation process required to ensure a lifetime seal.

The exact timeframe always depends on the size of your property, the complexity of its layout, and whether we need to tear off multiple layers of old shingles first.

Nebraska weather can also play a role, as high winds or heavy rain will pause production to keep your home safe and dry. No matter the material or scope, our team works efficiently to minimize disruption.

Are you a local company or a national franchise?
No, we are not a national franchise. We are a proudly independent, locally owned and operated roofing company based right here in Kearney. When you work with us, you are dealing directly with local professionals who understand Nebraska's unique weather challenges, rather than a corporate office in another state. We live and work in the very same communities we serve, meaning our reputation and our accountability to you are personal.
What types of metal roofing do you install?
We install virtually any type of metal roofing you desire, with the sole exception of mechanical lock seams. Whether you want the timeless, rugged look of traditional corrugated panels, the clean lines of snap-lock standing seam, or the elegant durability of premium stone-coated steel shingles, we have the specialized expertise to handle it.

Every system we install is engineered to survive severe Nebraska storms, and we will work closely with you to find the exact profile, color, and gauge that fits your property's architectural style and your personal budget.

Why we choose not to install mechanically-seamed standing seam
We choose not to install mechanically-seamed standing seam because modern snap-lock metal roofing systems have become incredibly advanced and efficient. Mechanical seams require specialized tools to lock the panels together, which significantly increases labor time, installation costs, and the margin for human error on the roof. It also makes repairs much more difficult.

Today, snap-lock profiles offer the exact same clean, hidden-fastener aesthetic and superior wind resistance, but they clip together seamlessly with built-in thermal expansion allowance.

By focusing exclusively on snap-lock systems, we can deliver a premium, lifetime-grade metal roof much faster and more affordably without ever sacrificing the structural integrity or weatherproofing of your property.
